Sebacic Acid
Sebacic acid is a natural C10 liquid fatty acid, directly produced from castor oil. It is used to produce polymers, including polyamides, co-polyamides, co-polyesters, polyester polyols and bioplastics. It can also be used to make esters, or as a corrosion inhibitor or buffer.
2-Octanol
2-Octanol is a fatty alcohol processed from the plant based castor oil. It is used as a synthesis intermediate for the manufacturing of fragrances and flavors and for plasticizers.
Dimethyl Sebacate (DMS)
Dimethyl Sebacate (DMS) is a dimethyl ester of sebacic acid. DMS has a vegetal origin since it is processed from castor oil. DMS is used to produce light stabilizer. It can also be used as a plasticizer, softening agent or as a solvent for resins and rubbers.
